OxClean

Since 2008 the parish council has organised an annual litterpick in Old Marston. This is part of a citywide event organised by the Oxford Civic Society (https://www.oxclean.org.uk/) which started in 2008 and regularly has about 2000 volunteers across the city. This year (2025) we are joining forces with the New Marston litterpicking team and supporting each other. Sacks and litterpickers will be provided – just come wearing suitable clothes and footwear. Oxford Direct Services will collect the full sacks of rubbish at the designated places.

There will be two events this year. On Saturday 8th March 2025 we will be meeting outside Mortimer hall at 10:00. We won’t be able to use the inside of the building but Diana at the Red Lion is letting us use their toilets. No need to book – just turn up – we look forward to seeing you.
