Pat Hall
I was born in Oxford and attended St Andrew's Primary School in Headington and Milham Ford when it was still a Grammar School.
My first job was in the finance department of the Bullingdon Rural District Council as a secretary.
I moved to Cherwell Drive, Old Marston just over forty years ago with my late husband and our three children who all attended St Nicholas Primary School before going on to Oxford Boys and Milham Ford Schools.
I have six grandchildren ranging in age from twenty-two to two years and three of them live in Old Marston. These three attended St Nicholas Primary School and then went on to Cherwell School. One is a student nursery teacher at St Nicholas Nursery School, one is at University and the youngest is still at Cherwell School.
I worked for the NHS for thirty-one years as a senior manager in the Oxford Cancer Registry which is part of the Oxford Cancer Intelligence Unit and retired in June of this year.
I am a member of the National Trust and am looking into becoming a volunteer, do upholstery classes, love reading and gardening and have recently been co-opted as a parish councillor for Old Marston.
Old Marston is the perfect place to live. Those of us who live here are very lucky and I am more than happy to give some of my time and energy to ensure that it remains so.
