More information below:

This club was formed in the year 2000 when the Over 60's Club folded. A constitution was drawn up and a committee formed with 'Margaret Finch as Chairperson, Phillys Charge -Treasurer, and Peter Knowles - Secretary. After the deaths of Margaret and Phyllys, Giil Wells became Chairperson and Val Longford the Treasurer.

Today the Club is a thriving part of the community with 80 plus members. Our meetings are held in the Church Hall on alternate Monday afternoons, 2.30 till 4.30 p.m. Details of our programme can be seen in the Marston Times and on the Church Hall notice board. We have speakers on a variety of subjects, many of the illustrated with slides. Music groups come from time to time.

Our annual Christmas Tea and Entertainment is held every November, and we go to an hotel for lunch in December.

Some of our members take part in five day holidays run by Age Concern. We fund raise by means of raffles at the meetings and Morning Markets held in the spring and autumn.

Our Club is friendly, open to new ideas and there is something for all members to enjoy. We can all participate if we wish - story telling, bingo etc.

If you want to get to know us better, please come along. You will be most welcome.
