ADDITIONAL BURIAL GROUND RULES AND REGULATIONS 1937

 

 

Additional rules and regulations made by Marston Parish Council, together with revised Table of Fees.

 

By resolution of the Council on April 22nd, 1937, it was re­solved That in future the erection of memorials would be per­mitted on purchased grave spaces only.' By resolution of the Council on October 17th, 1939, it was re­solved That in cases where memorials have been erected on un­purchased graves no re-erection thereof would be permitted after a second interment unless the grave space is purchased.' Purchased Grave Spaces. s. d.

For a Grave Space in perpetuity 9 feet by 4 feet, including first interment if purchased within

three months thereof . 2 2 0

above, on the same being constructed as a

A Flat Stone occupying a superficial area not ex-

ceeding 6 feet 6 inches by 3 feet . i I o

Border Stones (without inscription), or any form

The foregoing fees for Monuments, Grave Stones and Monu­mental inscriptions relate to a single Grave Space not exceeding 9 feet by 4 feet, and 6 feet by 3 feet ; in the case of a Grave Space exceeding these dimensions an additional fee of one half will be charged, unless more than one Monument or Grave Stone is erected upon such Grave Space, in which case a full single fee will be charged for each.

 

All the foregoing fees relating to Purchased Grave Spaces, In­terments, and Monuments, etc., will be reduced by half in the case of a person not above 12 years of age.

 

All the foregoing fees and payments, with the exception of the Minister's Fees, will be doubled in the case of persons not parishioners or inhabitants of the Parish of Marston.
